Kingdom Come makes you actually practice your skills in order to "git gud". You can steal standard weapons from the church in Rattay (This is also what I did) ![]() You can youtube/reddit some guide to get the "golden chest" for the most OP armor (I dont recommend this as upkeeping this armor early is impossible without gold) You can wait for the "wayfaring knight" he spawns at junctions in the road at a very high rate -> choke him out and steal his armor (This is what i did) (This is the only time I resorted to stealing in game) But early on in the game if you want to progress quickly you will have to steal. Now you will have Sir Bernard back at his post by the training arena for good. Go through the main-quest line until the "Timmy" quest begins. Train as much as you can before the remainder of the quest line forces you to proceed. At this point you can start training with Sir Bernard. Doing so will give you permanent +2 vitality and the "Leg Days" perk which is somewhat decent.Ĭomplete the associated quest (no spoilers) and follow the quest line all the way to Rattay. In the starter village of the game after your father sends you to get some blacksmith charcoal etc, head to the north side of the village and spend 30-45 min collecting flowers/herbs to get ur Herbalism to lvl 10. this should take about 5-6 hours of game time depending on if you skip cutscenes or not And with that gold was able to acquire the most expensive armor in game/upgrade my horse to the best of the best with saddles and other gear. I have acquired over 80k Groschen legitimately without exploits/stealing shop owner goods. I am also able to essentially explore the whole map without fear that I will be defeated or die with whatever foe/quest I embark on. I basically never lose a fight anymore which makes combat much more fun as I focus on landing combos instead of trying to stay alive. I have been able to fight 7-8 bandits at once. My character LITERALLY one shotted Runt with a Parry. I am of course excluding the secondary perks like reading, pickpocket etc etc where my level is lowly scattered. Within that time I have reached a main character level of 20, maxed out defense, mace, sword, warfare, and am essentially 16+ in everything else. So I purchased KC via Steam on Saturday and I've logged over 30 hours into the game currently. The rules of reddit and reddiquette also apply.
